Who is eligible for the Arnold Clark ClarkDrive Scheme?
Any member of staff (full or part time), seasonal or temporary and any immediate family or partners.

What car shall I choose?
If you are unsure what vehicles are available or would like advice on other vehicles not listed on our Deals page, please contact us for further information or advice.

What's the best deal?
This depends on your budget, but in general, the best deals are the special offer cars seen here. Please note that quoted examples are subject to change from time to time and to stock availability!

Can I fit optional extras to the vehicle?
Absolutely. We can cost all of the options you require when we provide your initial quote for the vehicle. If you want to fit options during your contract, you will need to obtain our authorisation.

How long will it be before I take delivery?
Normal turn around is between 5 and 7 days. Delivery time is subject to build, shipping and allocation times set by the manufacturer. As part of Arnold Clark's comprehensive service we will keep you advised of your order progress.

Will I be credit checked?
Yes. Your purchase is subject to status, terms and conditions. Each application is credit vetted and decisions are made by the third party underwriters.

What should I do about insurance?
It is your responsibility to arrange comprehensive insurance cover for the vehicle. For the most competitive quotation please call Arnold Clark Insurance Services on 0845 1210434. If you require business insurance, please ask. For other insurance, please see our additional services below.

Are there any additional or hidden costs?
Arnold Clark like to operate the business in a completely transparent manner. As such, there are no hidden costs. We would however like to remind you that you may incur costs for excess and rebate mileage charges and costs arising from damage to vehicles. Please note that offers are subject to availability and quotations are valid for 30 days.

What can I do with my current car?
Your current vehicle can be used as a part exchange. Or, if you would like a valuation for your car, please contact your nearest Arnold Clark branch and you will be given a valuation estimated using motor industry guides and based on the age, mileage and condition of the vehicle.

What about VAT, Road Fund Licence, Delivery and extras?
Our rentals are inclusive of VAT. Delivery of your vehicle is free anywhere on the UK mainland. Road fund licence is included for the duration of ClarkDrive contracts. Extras are chargeable.

Can I take my vehicle abroad?
Yes, of course you can. There is however, one formality that needs to be observed. We will provide you with a VE103 certificate, which you will require at Customs. Please advise us of your travel arrangements well in advance so that we can prepare this document for you.

I can't afford any of the current deals. Is there anything that costs less?
No problem! Arnold Clark can provide many other makes and models. We can look at ways of reducing your costs, from bigger deposits to other finance options.

What penalties are there for early termination?
This is dependent on many variables, including the current value of your vehicle, its condition and mileage. ClarkDrive has set penalties based and calculated on the above. But don't panic, remember you can always insure against penalties.

Must my agreement include full maintenance cover?
Not necessarily. We believe that our full maintenance package is the most attractive option for the majority of drivers. However, if you would like a quotation for a non-maintenance option, please ask one of our representative.

Can Arnold Clark provide me with other forms of finance?
Yes, we can. In the event that ClarkDrive does not suit your requirements, we can provide alternative finance options including Hire Purchase and Personal Contract Purchase (PCP). Your nearest Arnold Clark showroom can provide details.
